Dr Stacey Skaalure has been awarded a Whitaker Scholarship to join the Stevens Group to investigate cells within specialised 3D hydrogels using state of the art characterisation techniques, which will increase our understanding how materials influence cellular response and has a host of applications in tissue engineering.
