The Stevens Group has been featured on the Front Cover of the most recent issue of Chemical Communications. The report by Dr Rona Chandrawati and Prof Molly Stevens entitled "Controlled assembly of peptide-functionalized gold nanoparticles for label-free detection of blood coagulation Factor XIII activity" describes how peptide-functionalized gold nanoparticles assemble specifically in the presence of blood coagulation Factor XIII, which has clinical importance in hemostasis, as components of a sensitive colourimetric assay.
