Dr Caterina Minelli awarded June Wilson Memorial Award

Dr Caterina Minelli has won the 2009 June Wilson Memorial Award. The prize, valued at £1000, is awarded to a female scientist who has shown excellence in the fields of tissue engineering, biomaterials, pathology or related disciplines. The award was set up by Professor Larry Hench in conjunction with the London Materials Society, in honour of his late wife's achievements in the field of biomedical materials research. As the winner, Dr Minelli received the honour to present her research work at the 2009 June Wilson Memorial Lecture of the London Materials Society on 12th March.
