Dr Roberto de la Rica has been awarded a very prestigious Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship by the European Community for his two-year project "MIMIC: Minerals Integrated into Multiple Identifications of Cancer" to integrate biological crystallization with common technologies for ultrasensitive detection of cancer biomarkers.
