Alex Pascual Cid receives PhD scholarship from the King of Spain

Big congratulations to Alex for being awarded the prestigious PhD scholarship from Fundación “la Caixa”. He received the honour directly from His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain.

This scholarship will support Alex’s PhD research with the Stevens group, where he is working on developing innovative scaffolds for photoreceptor transplantation to help treat retinal degeneration.
