Martina was awarded a grant from the L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science UK and Ireland Rising Talents Programme to support her research on material-cell interfaces to inform the design of healthcare solutions. Martina is currently a Fellow of the Swiss National Science Foundation working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Stevens Group and we are looking forward to seeing the outcome of her research.

The For Women in Science programme aims to provide flexible and practical financial support, alongside tools and support, for exceptional early career women scientists to help them build a career in research. Congratulations Martina!
